The president of International Patent Group, LLC is David A. Guerra who is a licensed U.S. patent agent, and was awarded a Bachelor of Science degree in Mechanical Engineering from the University of South Florida. David Guerra is registered to practice before the United States Patent and Trademark Office and has conducted tens of thousands of patent searches ranging from patentability, clearance, validity, collection, infringement, state of the art, and has written and prosecuted many patent applications, including PCT national stage applications. Prior to creating International Patent Group, Mr. Guerra was the leading search manager for one of the largest patent service companies in the United States. During his time there, Mr. Guerra has trained and managed patent agents and over 30 engineers in intellectual proper law, patent drafting, and patent searching. He was also involved in the development of one of the only privately owned searchable patent databases.
